When we were children, our mother used to sew our clothes, knit our sweaters and decorate everything we had. She rarely bought us anything new, and it was not just because she wanted to save money. She was just a talented, creative person who could re-design our clothes easily so that they almost seemed brand new. I remember when she embroidered my initials on the towel that I used to bring to school. The letters were really beautiful. All my classmates were so jealous! She also used to make baby bedding for my younger sisters. Some of our family members liked the idea so much that they ordered such sets for their own children. One day, my mother lost her job in the local supermarket. But she didn"t give up. She decided to start her own business almost immediately. What could she offer to potential customers? Well, baby bedding, of course, but also hand-knit blankets and sweaters. She did not have any problems selling her products. First of all, all our family members and even neighbours spread the news really quickly. And her bedding was actually something unique. Nobody had made such things for years, but my mother re-discovered them and made them popular again.
