Telephones have made our world a lot smaller. What does it mean? It means that we completely don´t feel the distance that is between us as we can call everyone within seconds and talk to him as if he was next to us. That is of course very convenient and it changed the world completely. With the introductions of the Internet, the world changed once again, and there are completely no barriers now. Some people think it is for the good and some think it is for the bad. I am part of the first group. Still, we have to remember that it was a telephone that changed the world for the first time, not internet. Of course it has some disadvantages as everything in this world. For example, it is hard to communicate properly through the telephone. Very often people argue through the phone, simply because they are not able to speak their mind as good as when they are speaking standing in front of each other. Through the telephone you won´t see emotions and someone might be lying. There are also some technical problems. Like recently I wanted to handle my theory test booking through the phone and it was engaged all the time. I thought that a lot of people is calling there right now and that this is the reason. After all there are many people who would like to take theory test. But as the situation didn´t change on the next day I decided to went there and do the theory test booking personally. As it turned out the telephone line was damaged and that is why I couldn´t get through.
